Replacing genetically missing teeth
The upper lateral incisor natural teeth are the small, side teeth just next to your two big front center teeth.
This tooth implant has so many details that you really should know before you start treatment. It can make or break a smile! It is often missing from birth.
The method used in the past was to move all the teeth forward to close the spaces. Unfortunately, this gave the smile a very unnatural appreance. This would have to be fixed later on with veneers to correct.
Ideally, the spaces for the missing teeth should be prepared for future implants.
It's best to wait until the person has finished growing, usually 19-20 years of age.
